Born in New York, Brian began playing drums at the age of eleven. After studying with many teachers including; Bobby Rondinelli (Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Blue Oyster Cult, Quiet Riot), Jason Sutter (Marilyn Manson, Smash Mouth, Cher), Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Foreigner, Ozzy), Aaron Edgar (Third Ion), and many more, Brian began playing the local club scene with various bands. He joined the New York City based band, Station, opening for such acts as Joe Lynn Turner, Dio Disciples, .38 Special, Bret Michaels, Trixter, Y&T and more. Brian has played the Millennium Music Conference, Great South Bay Music Festival, the 2013 and 2014 Rocklahoma Festivals, as well as various other festivals throughout the United States. Station released their first EP “WIRED” in 2013 which they recorded in Nashville with the legendary producer, Michael Wagener (Ozzy Osbourne, Skid Row, Mötley Crüe, Metallica, Alice Cooper, Extreme, Dokken, Warrant). Brian has continued to work and record with Michael Wagener since the release of Station’s EP. Station also recorded a full length record in 2014.
After leaving Station Brian began working with various artists both in the studio and on the road. He began doing sessions with producer, Mick James (Criss Angel) and was a member of Mick James' touring band, Mick James Is Dead.
Brian also began working on a project called D.M.K. (Dunbar, Merrill, Karl). The group released a single in late 2014 which was mastered by Mark Slaughter (Slaughter). Their first EP entitled "3" was released on March 24, 2015. The group returned to the studio to record additional singles which were mastered by Pete Evick (Bret Michaels). D.M.K. is currently recording new music and touring, playing such venues as the Whisky A Go-Go in Hollywood, CA and opening for some of the biggest names in the industry.
In 2018, Brian began working and recording with the band, Stoke The Fire. Stoke The Fire recorded at Full Force Studio in NY with producer, Joe Cincotta (Obituary).
Brian also became a full time member in the band, Billy Mira & The Hitmen, playing multiple music venues in NY including; Jones Beach Bandshell, Gateway Playhouse, and the Pennysaver Amphitheater at Bald Hill.
Brian has also toured with West Bound featuring Chas West (Jason Bonham Band, Foreigner, Lynch Mob).
In addition to touring and recording with various artists, Brian has judged the Guitar Center Drum Off events, conducted drum clinics at Sam Ash Music Stores and has recorded for many artists directly from his home studio. Brian also began touring and working closely with other notable musicians in the industry. When he is not touring Brian conducts drum clinics, teaches privately, and records at his home studio in Nashville, TN.
